There have been a few scandals about his sister Abby Shapiro, which just makes people even more interested in finding out more about Ben Shapiro's life outside his career. Ben married his wife Mor Toledano in 2008, and while he brings her up from time to time, she definitely lives more privately than he does. Here's why Ben Shapiro's wife Mor Shapiro appears to enjoy keeping to herself.

Who Is Ben Shapiro's Wife Mor Shapiro?

The fast-paced world of politics often results in popular candidates and rising stars... and then, of course, there are the celebrities who run for office themselves. Ben Shapiro has become incredibly well-known over the last ten years, and while he focuses on his political opinions, he does bring up his personal life at times.

According to The Sun, Mor and Ben Shapiro's relationship most likely began in 2008. At the very least, that is the year that they tied the knot. They only dated for three months before getting engaged and seem to have gotten married soon after that. The couple met because of Ben's sister Abby.

According to Health.usnews.com, Mor practices family medicine in Woodland Hills, which is located in California. She has a degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Besides her medical career, though, little is known about Mor Shapiro. A couple of years ago, people began talking about whether Mor actually practiced medicine. In 2018, Ben appeared on the podcast The Conversation, which is part of The Daily Wire. The video is available on YouTube now.

Ben was asked "Is your wife a doctor?" and he said, "So the rumor is that she is. The last ten years of my life that I spent watching her go through medical school and then residency all the time suggest that she is. You want to know why I'm so proud that my wife is a doctor?"

Ben continued, "Number one I'm proud of her because she's a special person and because that takes a lot of work. But second of all, it's my accomplishment too, okay? I was here for the whole thing. It's been so long and so terrible. But she's actually a fantastic doctor. It's obviously her accomplishment, fine, okay."

While Ben Shapiro is very comfortable explaining his opinions and thoughts, whether on podcasts, Instagram, or in the columns that he writes, people never hear from his wife Mor. She doesn't appear to have social media. There is an Instagram account with her name on it, but there are zero posts, and it's unclear if she really set it up.

Since being a family doctor is a very busy profession, Mor could be spending all of her time working and also raising her and Ben's four children. Maybe she just doesn't want to be as well-known as her husband.

Both Ben and Mor Shapiro seem to want to keep their family more private than his career. In March 2020, Ben posted on Instagram that he and his wife had welcomed their third baby.

He shared that they had a daughter but explained that he didn't want to say too much. He wrote in the caption, "I don't post pics of my family to social media because of the nature of my work, but I just couldn't help sharing the news. So excited for this new chapter and for the new addition to my family!"

When the couple had their fourth child, Ben posted about it on Instagram as well. But as he explained in his caption, he doesn't want people to know much about his children. However, he sometimes mentions them in a general way, like when he talked about the challenge of going out to eat with toddlers on The Conversation. There's definitely a good chance that Mor agrees with Ben that their kids should have lots of privacy.

What Has Ben Shapiro Said About His Wife Mor Shapiro?

While he does seem to want to keep certain things just for himself and his wife Mor, Ben Shapiro does sometimes explain his thoughts about relationships. Ben Shapiro wrote about his marriage in a piece for Newsweek in July 2018. He wrote the article because he and Mor had celebrated a decade of marriage.

Ben explained that when he and Mor talk, he will ask her if he should offer help for an issue that she is struggling with or if she just wants him to hear what she has to say. He said that this strategy has been really good for them.

Ben also wrote about how having kids can change a married couple. He said, "Marriage is a merger of two lives; kids turn the object of those lives outward. This means more emotional volatility, less time with each other, and more pressure. It's deeply important to carve out time with your spouse and to reassure them that they are the most important person in your lifeā€”even if your first priority has to be taking care of kids who can't take care of themselves."

In an appearance on the Full Send podcast, Ben said that he asked Mor to marry him when they had been together for two months. He said that she was only 20 years old and that she was nervous that her mom and dad would think she was too young.

In an episode of The Ben Shapiro, Ben shared about what it was like when he and Mor first started dating and thought about marriage. He said, "My wife happens to be smoking hot, so this definitely was the initial draw."

Ben also said "My wife and I, on our first date, for three hours, discussed free will and determinism and how many kids we wanted to have. We were dating for marriage."

Staying private about most things related to their family seems to be working for Ben Shapiro and his wife Mor. They have now been married for 15 years and appear to be on solid ground.
