Oscar Piastri's mum Nicole offered a hilarious response to a fan after her son was pictured alongside Formula 1 legend Fernando Alonso.
The 22-year-old is one of the sport's hottest prospects and is racing in his first full season on the grid.
Piastri stars for McLaren alongside Lando Norris having previously been a reserve driver last year.
He was previously a test driver at Alpine, the team Alonso drove for in 2021 and 2022 before sealing his move to Aston Martin this season.
Ahead of this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix, Piastri reunited with the former world champion to swap helmets.
Taking to X, he posted an image with the Spaniard and with a smiling emoji, said: "Had his kart. Now I’ve got his helmet."

Clearly an admirer, Piastri revealed earlier this year that his first ever go-kart was from Alonso's brand, Fernando Alonso Kart.
One fan replied to the image of the old and new generation of F1 drivers and called them: "The goat father and the goat son."
However, Oscar's mum Nicole noticed the comment and intervened as she brilliantly replied: "Pretty sure I would’ve remembered that…"
Piastri currently sits ninth in the Drivers' Championship standings on 87 points, an impressive tally for a debutant.

He has secured two podium finishes this season, with his most recent one coming in the Qatar Grand Prix where he finished second.
With just three races remaining, Piastri is on course for a top ten finish in the standings along with teammate Norris.
McLaren meanwhile are eyeing up a top three finish in the Constructor's Championship, although they currently trial Ferrari by 93 points.
